The Lounge Awards are a "method of casting a spotlight upon more...exceptional members of our community" created by three people and 46.24 braincells.Â
It is a fair* system designed to award people for doing or being things (such as Kyle), breaking records (such as most lounge bans), and literally anything we deem funny (such as Ferris Bueller's Day Off).
Keep in mind, truth doesn't matter. If someone tried to win the "most roblox played" award from 2026, and they've played 1000 roblox hours, they can win even if someone else has 10000 roblox hours. Remember, if nobody knows you have that many roblox hours, you don't have that many roblox hours.
*Aproximately as fair as the concentration of real fruit juice in your drink, speaking of which, you are not permitted to bring food or drink into the Lounge.
The Lounge Awards (a.k.a. "Loungies") were created at first by McKinney Glazer, but quickly assisted by Martin L. Kittleson and Henry Gugliuzza, bringing in some extra braincells to reach the 46.24 total we have today.
From that one morning in the lounge during late start (where all the best lounge ideas are born) to the ceremony in 2026, and even now in preparation for the 2027 lounge awards that have been recently (literally less than 2 minutes after the 2026 ceremony had concluded) confirmed.
Even at this point we are still expanding. McKinney already has a list of over 300 ideas for new awards, each one (except "Most Iconic") being unique from the awards last year.
We also have new ninth grade meat for the grinder this year, widening the competition but also the surprise in this year's ceremony.
And, well, we might even buy a domain for this website.
The Lounge Awards Team is always working, even since the first day of school, to bring these awards to you. So, whenever you see a member, please try your best (which should be success at this point, we're in 9th grade, c'mon) to give them thanks in the form of any of these items:
